[Intriguing] Blunkett’s Guidedog?

Posted by Lex Fear on February 23, 2009

That’s my first guess at what has caused his near U-turn on ID cards:

David Blunkett, who as Home Secretary led the government’s push for compulsory ID cards, will tomorrow call for the scheme to be curtailed, according to a report.

Instead he will propose that only foreigners be made to hold an ID card. UK nationals should only be required to hold a passport, Blunkett will argue.

For those not in the know, whilst Blunkett was in public office, flogging ID Cards and all manner of Orwellian devices to use on us, the British public, he received a nice directorship with Entrust, the company who created Spains ID card system and lobbied for the contract for the British one.

I’m sure there was no link between Blunketts cushty new job and his policy towards ID cards at the time.

A glance at the news show Entrust doing reasonably well profits wise during the recession, so what has caused Blunkett to shift his stance?

Worth watching this one, lack of sight has caused Blunketts nose to develop a keen sense of smell for money and influence.

[Abortion] Further Thoughts on Unmurder

Posted by Lex Fear on May 21, 2008

I’ve made my views on abortion clear on this blog before. I suppose I’m pro-life leaning but not solidly. One thing I have always advocated is the concept of full-term abortion. You may as well wait until the thing is born, then decide if you want to go ahead with termination. What is 12 weeks after all?

What I’d like to know is, how many of those celebrating the decision to stay at 24 weeks and the womans right to choose, bemoan the decline of intellectualism or the rise of immigration? Intellectualism and Immigration are two separate issues and I’m not trying to draw any association, but I do see two effects on the future of the UK as a result of this decision:

  • Immigration will rise, and with it particularly children of Asian and Eastern European origins. the White and Black British people will become the minority. The reason for this is the first and second generation of these people groups generally have large families and strong community ties. Whether or not this is down to religious belief, they generally don’t do abortions.
Furthermore, we will need these immigrants to replace the aging British population which is not replenishing. If an anti-immigration government takes hold, then forget the current “credit crunch”, Britain will be destined for a permanent economic collapse.
  • Intellectualism will also be in decline (unless it can be bolstered by intelligent immigrants). It tends to be the upper-middle classes who use abortion as a contraception. The working class, however show no signs of curtailing their breeding patterns. In fact many girls look forward to the day they get to leave school and have a baby. Whether they want a baby or not, many aren’t even using condoms. I don’t hear of many teenage boys turning away the chance of a quick shag because they don’t have a rubber or consider the consequences of their actions.

Now, just as I’ve outlined my views on abortion, if you read back through my blog you will see I’m strongly pro-immigration. I’m actually pro-emigration too, I can’t wait to leave this damned country, but these are the facts of the matter. Of course, I have nothing of substance to back this up, however all anyone can do is look at history and look at trends.

For what it’s worth I really think what the should do is replace with or append to the abortion procedure sterilisation. If we are going to treat people like animals (ie. that sex is an impulse that is natural and shouldn’t be denied) then we should really look at offering the option of sterilisation and castration.

That’s right, visit secondary schools and interview 13 year olds and offer them a choice. Do you want to have unprotected sex anytime you want, or are you considering keeping yourself and raising a family. Since we’ve already successfully taught sex education by this stage, I see no reason why they would not be able to make a competent and informed decision.

Disclosure 1: I am a Christian, however I was at one stage, as a Christian, pro-abortion. What changed my mind was the testimonies, images and videos I have seen of babies surviving before 24 weeks, as well as babies embryos the same age being chopped up and pulled out of the womb in pieces. I’m in favour of women having the right to abortion, but severely curtailed to ~6 weeks, maybe less.

Disclosure 2: With regards to the health of the mother, or in cases of rape, I don’t really have an opinion. Suffice to say I think a woman choosing to go through with pregnancy in these cases is brave and sacrificial, worthy of honour.

I suggest anyone really wanting to get a view from the side of the fetus visit Abort73.com. Whilst it’s owned by a Christian ministry, the site itself is professional and does not contain any overt religious references. In fact much of the information presented can be easily presented from a secular viewpoint. From their ‘about’ page:

Loxafamosity Ministries, Inc. (LMI), the organization behind Abort73.com, believes that “secular” arguments are invaluable and even sufficient to demonstrate that abortion is an injustice of historic proportions, one which systematically destroys the most innocent and helpless members of the human race. You needn’t believe in God to oppose abortion. Anyone who cares about human rights, and understands that the right not to be killed outweighs the right not to be pregnant, cannot support abortion.

Daily Hate Mail

Posted by Lex Fear on February 16, 2008

Diana Appleyard hates Eastern Europeans Diana Appleyard “journalist” for the Daily Hate Mail has been exposed by Recess Monkey.

I am urgently looking for anonymous horror stories of people who have employed Eastern European staff, only for them to steal from them, disappear, or have lied about their resident status. We can pay you £100 for taking part, and I promise it will be anonymous, just a quick phone call. Could you email me asap?

My wife is a white Canadian, whose father was Eastern European, so I shall ask her if her dad ever stole, disappeared or lied about his residential status in Canada. Of course, having his own building company his family would have starved if he had. I know he had plenty of stories of people who stole from him…

Come to think of it I have plenty of stories about British people who have stolen, lied, slacked off and disappeared at work which I have seen first hand in my 12 years of employment, but I guess they don’t sound fanatical enough for headlines and sales to the xenophobic masses.

Offender Mentality

Posted by Lex Fear on August 28, 2007

Previously on Abandon All Fear, I’ve written many articles on (usually middle-class) victim mentality:

Mind The Gap
Justice or Mercy?
Response to ‘Following the Israeli-Lebanon Crisis’
The Created Image: God’s First Command
An Immigration Problem Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
Comparing Christian Value Systems
Blogwars
Thick as Legal Thieves

Are you Aiding Criminal Activity?
Real Cost of Immigration?
Right-Minded Individuals
How to be a Victim
The Process Driven Life
We’re All Terrorist Suspects Now

They Know Not What They Do

I’ve always considered the fact that a victim can also be a perpetrator, and how much the MSM and bloggers miss this fact. I have also been accused here occasionally, of attacking victims and hypocrisy. This is odd since I’ve mostly tried to present offenders as either victims themselves or point out (moral) offences committed by self-proclaimed victims. Furthermore, I am a born-again Christian, something I’ve made no attempt to hide. Where the law of victim and offender is concerned I subscribe to the words of Jesus before the rights of the individual:

But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?”

Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” – Luke ca. 130AD

Hardly hypocritical when you consider I am acting within the remit of my faith and understanding of theology.

What caught my eye back in June was an article from Reuters which basically says out loud what I’ve mostly been hinting at since the inception of this blog:

“Almost two-thirds of Britons regularly commit petty crimes, according to a report, challenging the notion that the country is made up of a law-abiding, respectable majority.

A survey by researchers at Keele University found that 61 percent of people they questioned had committed one of a variety of crimes…

…”Although the middle classes are engaging in this type of behaviour, they are also eager to blame when they find themselves victims of such behaviour,” said the report, published by the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies at King’s College, London.

“Consumers are sheep and wolves — easy prey and preying on others. Offending and victimisation are as closely and intricately linked at the core of society as at its margins.” – Most Britons Admit to Petty Crimes

Considering record numbers of Britons are leaving the UK (apparently because of foreigners, but not fellow ‘law-abiding citizens’), given the information above, shouldn’t countries like Spain be worried of the criminal classes that are invading their lands?

Perhaps if we spent as much time on our own offences, as we do on singling out immigrants, young people or ex-cons that have paid their debt to society, we would actually find the UK a peaceful and decent place to live in. Just like the rest of Western Europe.

Holiday Hiatus

Posted by Lex Fear on July 29, 2007

Munich (37) Alex Fear and the Mrs are officially on holiday for 2 weeks from tomorrow, so the blogging will be light. We’re actually looking for new flat to rent but we may just skip to the beach if the sun keeps (or catch a cheap ‘environMENTALly unfriendly’ flight away for a few days).

In the meantime, any time I get at the ‘puter will be devoted to testing a new CMS and thinking the best way to go about transferring this to a WordPress blog (domain name/content). Look forward to changes, and better organisation of the resources (devoted to social action etc).

In the meantime, click on one of the labels below to read through some previous topics.

The Australian Connection

Posted by Lex Fear on July 19, 2007

C

Controversy
Contains speculation over global conspiracy.

Should British immigration rules be tightened for Australians?

Is Australia the greatest threat to democracy in the world?

We’re All Terrorist Suspects Now!

Posted by Lex Fear on July 18, 2007

M

Mildly Offensive
Since it’s only offensive to Australians.

Yet more common sense coming from the rulers of that former prison island. Any reasonable Aussie should be as astounded as Justice Spender. What Australian Immigration are actually saying is that anyone who has had even some past association with a *current* terrorist suspect is, by association, a terrorist suspect.

That means if you once shared a house with someone whilst you were a student, or allowed them to use your mobile phone perhaps… then years later that person is indoctrinated into islamic terrorism, then YOU are ALSO a terrorist suspect!

Well done Prime Minister Howard (who is also a friend of Hillsong Australia) for implementing anti-human policies yet again! Do your lips ever get chapped from kissing Dubya’s ass?

Pray for democracy to come to Australia!

[Minitruth] Loss of Confidence

Posted by Lex Fear on July 6, 2007

This Post Is Rated: C for Controversial. Speculation over the decline of trust in British institutions.

In may, the Economist highlighted a YouGov poll taken earlier this year showing a general decline in the British peoples trust in public services, politics, work and journalism.

“…Confidence in almost every area of public life has fallen since the invasion of Iraq in 2003.” – The Economist, Trust Me, I’m A Judge

Unsurprisingly the only people to have gained more trust from the public were judges, whilst the usual suspects, including police, NHS hospital managers, estate agents, MPs and newspapers lost trust.

It’s easy to see why. I speak from my own experience in dealing with ‘the system’. People are realising that whilst those in authority seek more and more power over every detail of our lives, restricting our freedoms, judges are our last great hope in clearing our name and keeping society in balance.

Whilst the government seeks to speed up justice and skip past important checks and balances, the judge is a human being, our last recourse and hope for clearing our name and defending our innocence and rights. As the government have introduced more and more restrictive legislation, more and more British people have come to rely upon the courts to treat them fairly.

When are we going to have an honest, competent, open government? One that looks to the bottom line when making decisions and laws, a government that stands for integrity and trust?

I’m fed up of seeing pandering to the rhetorical right, unaccountability, cover ups, tax solves all problems, empty promisestechnology solves everythingmotorists are evil, environmental hypocrisy, weasel words, VIP treatment, cultivating fear, wasted money, not protecting UK citizens and allowing foreigners to dictate policy.

[Believable] Birmingham Airport Security Shennanigans

Posted by Lex Fear on June 4, 2007

This Post Is Rated: C for Controversial. Interesting results of an investigation into airport security by ITV’s Tonight programme.

ITV sent an undercover reporter into Birmingham airport to reveal serious screw ups lapses in airport security. Video can be seen here.

“Undercover filming showed bag checkers reading newspapers and other workers fast asleep”

Regular readers of this blog should not be surprised, as I highlighted their incompetence last year:

“So even though my wife was denied access, she was allowed through anyway, so much for protecting the country from the marriage bomb. Even better was the ‘escorted’ deportation. We walked up to the check-in, surprised and confused the lady. Mrs Fear made a point of collecting her air-miles, and then we were free to wander around departures with no problems whatsoever. Only when Mrs fear got to the departure gate, that a flustered immigration orificer came out with her passport, handed it back and walked off. Again, no escort, no handcuffs, no checks.

She walked through the gate and another immigration orificer, she handed him her passport. He then looked at her and stated “We were looking all over for you… Do you have your passport?”
“Yes,” she responded, “…you’re holding it.”
“Where is it?”
“You… are… holding… it” – An Immigration Problem Part 2

I would now like to see them investigate the employment of college age chavs on work experience at Heathrow.
