A while back I posted the video of Blair’s comic relief and hinted at a possible post-downing street career.
Who would have thought his partner in TWAT (The War Against Terror) could the other half of a possible comic duo?
To give credit to Bush, his self-depreciation is quite funny, his self-awareness is surprising and somewhat sad, considering what he could have achieved if he had used it to better himself.
Really, their security measures are becoming a joke. What is the purpose of taking 9 extra fingerprints? I’m beginning to think one of America’s global War Against Terror strategies is simply to hassle and delay terrorists to death.
“Sadam Hussein, whether they like him, or didn’t like him, he hated terrorists, he’d shoot and kill terrorists…”
On the causes:
“…there’s only one person you can blame and that’s our current President”
On Bush’s staff:
“Obviously Rumsfeld was a disaster”
“Condolleeza Rice is a lovely woman but she never makes a deal… she waves”
On America’s repuation:
“We had a chance after September 11th, to be the most popular nation on earth… and we blew it”
On Iraq:
“The day we leave anyway it’s all gonna blow up”
“Saddam Hussein will be a nice person… compared to the person that takes over for Saddam Hussein, he will be considered a nice person… he will hate America”
On the casualties:
“Nobody talks about the soldiers who are coming back with no arms and no legs”
The man behind it all has confessed – to EVERYTHING – from plotting to assassinate Pope JP II to 9/11 – proving torture works. Can we all now get back on with our lives?
Terrorism is dead, long live King George (and poodle, Tony)!
Europe has given up profiling terrorists since “trait patterns of suspects are ‘constantly shifting’ and their backgrounds are diverse” as reported by CSM.
Does this mean that the British government will now simply extend terrorism protection laws to any citizen, anywhere on terrorism protection grounds?
It turns out the execution shooting of Jean Charles De Menezes was a test case for the Met.
“It is not about diminishing the tragedy of Charles de Menezes’ death. We see it as a test case, not only for policing in London but for the police service nationally.” – Commander Moir Stewart
Gosh! Really? So did De Menezes know he was just being volunteered for a test case? What determines if the ‘test’ is successful?
The way I see it for The Met, if this ‘test case’ is successful, they have a license to shoot anyone they like in the head, so long as it is in the name of terror. If unsuccessful, the public at least has the assurity that if they do get murdered killed they can make a Health & Safety claim.
“At that time I will put you on trial on terrorism charges. I will be a ready witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat big corporations out of profits, who oppress middle-income families and council tax payers, or who deprive the native people of their jobs and freedoms- illegal immigrants and foreign terror suspects, for these people do not fear me,” says the LORD Almighty.” – Malachi 3:5 NLT
“In ‘Cowboys & Indians,’ they always made Ahmed play an Indian squaw. In ‘Batman & Robin,’ he was always Alfred. And in ‘Global Islamic Jihad,’ they always made him play America, the Great Satan.” – RHOG – Ah, Youth!
Whilst Arab children play flag-wearing, Israeli children prefer painting.
Peace in the Middle East won’t come from negotiations, bombing, fighting or International condemnation. It begins and ends in the playground.
